| Can an M.A. in Sociology help me get into a career in consumer affairs? My undergrad is economics. The school I really want to go to doesn't have an M.A. in Consumer Affairs, but I was wondering if having a B.A. in Econ and an M.A. in Sociology could help me get in the door to that field. Also, what else could I do with a B.A. in Econ and an M.A. in Sociology? Is it too crazy to consider going for the M.A. in Soc and then go to the other school for an M.S. in Consumer Affairs (a second master's degree)? My mom thought the idea was crazy, but I am thinking about it. I love school, so I am not averse to spending an additional 2 years at a university. |
