What is sociology as a science and how does it differ from other social sciences? Discuss how people are shaped by socialization. Refer to the results of a lack of socialization and the evidence we have for this; agents of socialization; theories of cooley and mead, and the impact of socialization through out the life course. Include social structure and its impact on individuals. In your explanation , be sure to use and illustrate with examples the terminology presented in the text and lecture, and present both the positive and negative impacts of the fact that social structure is difficult to change.
