Doing a sociology seminar on depression, any info or advice?

Hey
I am presenting a seminar on the nuture vs nature of depression. I've suffered from depression myself, so I've got some first hand experience. For my seminar I did some case studies and covered information on both nurture and nature aspects. Although I am asked to cover the sociological points of view on depression (functionalist, symbolic & conflict) I'm struggling with this, and was wondering if anyone had any advice?
I would greatly appreciate any other suggestions for my project if you have them
