Stupid Should Hurt has a spectacular aura about
The critical theories look at social problems from the perspective that the social structure, as it exists, is the root cause for social ills. The overall tone of them is that the social structure is organized and enforces policies that are inherently unfair to some members of society and that the only way to solve the resulting social problems is to change the social structure. This is the reason for the "critical" label; these theories are being critical of the social structure.
