The best university in Las Vegas is UNLV.However, in answer to your question if there are any GOOD schools where you could take "them" classes, I will have to answer: No -- there aren't any good ones.

Take it from me. I've lived in Las Vegas for 10 years. UNLV is probably your best bet for all three.IT doesn't really matter if it's a "good School" for a particular subject, what matter most are the teachers/mentors/advisors you get (and that just takes a little perserverence, and motivation to find them). If you want to go into Law School, UNLV's law school is definitely improving. It is actually RANKED in the Top 100 law schools. So you won't have a problem there. They have fairly updated buildings, and a really "brand new" moot courtroom (Just built in the last year). Careers with Philosophy and Sociology are hard to come by, I won't sugar-coat it. However, if you market yourself as a "well-rounded" educated person, many big corporations could want you for a variety of types of jobs. You just have to look and well... ask. There are resources at UNLV's Career center that would help you out, as well. UNLV has a job fair every year too, so you can actually show up as if your doing an interview, bring resumes and seriously talk to company reps to see if they want you.Don't worry about it being "UNLV".... Because I'm here to tell you that in 4 years, I'm getting my B.S in Biotechnology, and am heading off to grad school (all expense paid for 5 years) in the fall. It doesn't matter that UNLV isn't the best school, you can make it work for you, just you NEED to put the effort into it. Get to know professors. They help you with a LOT of things, especially because they've been there before.Good luck. If you have anymore questions about UNLV or nevada in general, you can message me!
