I am a Biological science major with a minor in Sociology/Human development,

which is a better minor? Im 19, I'm currently a junior biological science student. interested in a minor in Soc/H.D, which would be better, I intend to go into the medical school upon graduating, The problem is, human dev. overlaps a little with Bio Sci, but Soc is totally in a different perspective. Is the overlap or non-overlap better, and would Soc. minor help/hurt my chances of Med Schl. , you know sometimes Med schl may seem it as been double minded, however, i am currently on the soc. side, but am open to ur answers. Bio science would involve higher math beyond calculus and may get you into fields where there are no rewards because of the nature of patents. You Will work for a company and be limited by your expertise or partnership.

the Social side works more with people and organizations more than petries, pipettes, and delta anything

In reality, a smart intern has a host of tools besides academics. Start planning by looking at the companies, organizations, and governments that specialize where u want to be.

Also know your language and be partially understanding of another.
