| I am not sure you understand what sociology is all about. You probably are referring to Cultural Anthropology! Sociology really is a sham, and it shouldn't be. The few sociologists who REALLY help people are those who have a background understanding which makes them able to help people. Most sociologists are merely practitioners of theories they really do not relate to! Maybe that would be a good topic, although you have to know what you are talking about and no matter what you do, you will probably make your instructor or professor become very mad at you! No kidding! |

| what about how fashion has turned into a world wide school uniform? Ford is an interesting company to follow in terms of popular culture and sociological consequences. mass production - how the induction of mass production lines affected society in terms of the reassurance of wage. then unions consequences... women working, the effect of women entering the workforce... being caste out the workforce...(wartimes) then back entering the workforce - the consequential results in terms of the breakdown of the nuclear unit and what society impact that has had. advertising campaigns... research how advertising styles can show a portrayal of human development in terms of income and knowledge... ford is a company appealing to the 'average male' so there campaigns should reflect the majority of society's viewpoints at the times, if it doesn't what else is it trying to say... how is the consumer treated. are they being spoken too, or chatted with? |
