My band made instrumental of their music ~ I want to edit music, Record my vocal,

edit the vocal, Software? I want to edit the music (like those advance specification, specially which speaker (right or left) will play which part of the music)|

I want to record my Vocal over the music (in seperate layer) and edit the vocal...

well I just need a software that can do that stuff and more...

Which software would you suggest?
