Can anyone recommend a good, free video-editing software like Windows Movie Maker?

I need a video-editing software where i can cut and combine clips together and add a music file, like windows movie maker. Thing is, movie maker is too slow and usually encounters errors.

You can try Sony Vegas, but the best rated by the users is Adobe Premiere.
