Where can I download the latest Microsoft software?

I still have the old versions of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Powerpoint etc. but my Dad's computer has all the latest versions, and he said they were all for free. He got his computer years ago, so those programs were not already installed. Someone, please give me the URL of where I can find the downloads for the latest in Microsoft software? Oh, and by the way, I'm not looking for "Vista" or anything, I'm just looking for the LATEST VERSIONS OF MICROSOFT PROGRAMS!
Well, yeah, I have to say, I only want it for the modern look! (yes, materialistic me) I can't stand using things which are out of date.
