What software do I need to play nes games?

I found a site that let's you download old nes games with winrar, but when I open the file my laptop can't find the right program to open it with. Please help.

You need to download an NES emulator to play those ROMs. However, it is ILLLEGAL to play video game ROMs that you do not physically own. Nintendo is very strict about this policy.

Well, you can download somthing called NEStopia and that can play NES games, but you can also download programs to play N64, PS1, GBA, XBOX, SNES and quite a bit more at the same site.

I believe you can only download them onto the Nintendo Wii, otherwise it's best to go to a Pawn shop and buy them legally.
