How or where do I get Video Capture Software, And What is it?

I plug in my camra to my computer to be a wb cam but it sais I dont have a ny video capture software. I dont know what this means, or were to get it??? and also when I go on to justin.tv (a live lifecasting site) and hit brodcast it sais I have no video device atached to the computer but I do. do I need video capture software for video bradcasting website too? Plese help me!!!

when u purchase a camera for your computer it come with all the software you need.
