How can I protect my computer from Remote Spy software?

Hey guys, I am 100% sure that someone is using remote spy software on me, I tried installing the Zone Alarm firewall but the person spoke with a tech person from remote spy software and know he can still spy with the zone alarm turned on, is there anything I can do to take it off like forever from my computer, it is so annoying, I'd really appreciate the help, thanks so much!!
