what's a good laptop for a truck driver to run CoPilot software?

what's a good laptop for a truck driver to run CoPilot software?

we're looking to purchase a laptop that won't break the bank that will run the CoPilot 11 software from ALK. A touch screen and shock resistance would be nice, but a Toughbook is kind of too expensive right now. should we buy the GPS package included with the software or look for our own? Does it matter?
