What is the best software for converting avi files to dvd(vob)?

What is the best software for converting avi files to dvd(vob).

Have tried

1 : winavi in conjunction with dvd shrink and dvd decryptor.

2 : dvdsanta

3: nerovision

all theese give good results but take long

anyone know of any software for converting avi files to a dvd which is fast and gives good results, so i can watch on my home dvd player

not intrested in gettting a divex player plz
would appreciate any sugesstins

All avi to DVD programs take a while. ConvertXtoDVD is the program I use and it takes about an hour for a 700MB file.

any conversion you do will tke time some do it in real time but i have neevrseen on e that will ocnvert in say 2 minutes it is avery long process
