Free system tray-hiding software?

Hello, I am looking for a freeware program that can hide system tray icons. I want the icons to be completely hidden, even when clicking the '<' arrow next to the tray, so I know doing "Right-click tray | Customise | Always Hide" etc. won't work.
For instance, I have a program, say it's called PRGM.exe, that creates a system tray icon whenever it's launched. However, I do not want the icon to appear. PRGM.exe is not launched on startup either. I need something that will effectively hide this icon.

Is there anyone that knows of such software? I know about SysTrayX but it is shareware, not freeware. I have also tried XNeat, but it seemed to have too many extra functions that I didn't need to use. If someone knows of a free program similar to SysTrayX, it would be greatly appreciated.
