| my computer cd-rom drive doesnt seem to work and I want to install a software in?
can i copy and past that software drive into my flash drive to install it in the computer. do you think it will work? i know i will have to go buy another cd-rom drive but in the meantime, is this possible to do?

Try going into the bios and seeing if the CD ROM is showing up there first off and if not try running a auto detect in bios.Another trick is to unplug the comp then disconnect the CD ROM fully then reboot it fully , then unplug it and reconnect the CD ROM, then try again plugging it back in and rebooting it.
