I downloaded some Korean software and i need help fixing my comp?

Well I let my friend download some software to my comp so that he could type in Korean, but now, everytime I try to do slashes ( \ ) or signs in my files names or on stuff that has to do with the computher software, I get weird signs that make no sense. Since I know is a software thing, I was just hoping someone could help me figure out what I can do to fix it, thnks.

Try this:

if you have Vista,

1. try going to Control Panel>Clock, Language, and Region,
>click change Keyboard or other input methods

2. CLick on Keyboards and Language Tab
>Click change keyboard

3. If there you see Korean Keyboard or Microsoft IME, just select it and click remove

Might work if you see Korean Language option/ Might not if you do not see it.

restore it back to a date before you downloaded it..
