| If my ipod is not charging should I reinstall the apple software?
I just got an ipod and it is not charging. Should I reinstall the apple software or itunes? When I plug it in to the usb port, a bubble pops up that says the computer does not recignise the devise. It was used so whe I got it, it was charged and I could download songs to the ipod. Any help would be great.      |

make sure that it is the correct usb cord; whether or not you have itunes doesnt matter as far as charging is concerned. if it still doesnt charge you can buy a ipod charger for like 10$ from wal mart. itunes is used for importing the songs from your computer to your ipod. hope i helped!
