Software to send out an email to 2000 addresses, one at a time?

I want to send out an email to guests to an event I'm planning. There's 2000 people I'm inviting to the party. I don't want to send each email individually (too much time) but if I send out the email with a bunch of people in the 'to' section, it will probably end up in their junk folder. Do you know of any software that sends it out one at a time that I could use once for free?

you could BCC all the recipients.

Your ISP may have a cap on the amount of recipients in a single email.......and it could flag your account as a spam source and they will ban you.

I think the best alternative is the use a listserve like

it is about $30 for up to 2500 emails and protects you from being cut off by your ISP. You upload your list of email addresses, create your "newsletter" and press SEND.....simple as that.

If this will become a regular activity, you may want to consider setting up an email server which will deliver the emails directly to the email accounts from your server instead of through your ISP. There are several open source options running on a Linux OS which are completely free except for the cost of the hardware it is installed on.
