is there a software that you can download that can find wifi..etc & hook up to it??

what i am trying to say is: Is there a program that can search for WiFi etc..& then i could hook on to that?

dont need third party software if you have a laptop with a wifi you can go to just about any major hotel and sit outside on the street and use there wifi most library's-cafes etc etc but its simple to set the laptop up to detect service let it do a serch like you going to hook up another connection
