Are people with borderline intellectual functioning eligible for department of vocational rehabilitation or?

SSI? I know in school they aren't eligible for special education unless they have something else.I know, that's why I'm asking if they're eligible

SSIVoc. Rehab. Servicesand Special Education classes are three separate things. Each will have separate requirements for services.

i doubt SSI-there needs to be significant impairment in ability to functionpossibly Voc rehab-if they receive a disability determination

If they are not or were not eligible for special education it is highly unlikely - unless something has changed.

I went to WWRC in Fishersville, VA, which is vocational school for the disabled under the Virginia Department of Rehabitation Services back in 1990 and people of all levels and types of disabilities is eligible to attend this school to be trained. Many of these same students that attend WWRC also collected SSI and with many of these students having disabilities that were not noticeable other than the fact that they attended this school to be trained.

Ask the people in charges of disability employment serves.In Australia the rules changes from time to time. Before I was on disability support penison I couldn't because you had to be on DSP. Then it went be WATT score. One Agent get me on DSP as I need it for supported wage. After I was on the rules changed and they can't assisted someone today get on DSP.
