Based on the research I have done, my solution will be to change the state requirement on the TAKS. The TAKS test is controlling how teacher need to teach their students. The state could give more freedom to teachers to explore the different methods of teaching. Teachers in the beginning of the school years are enforce to started preparing the students just to pass the TAKS and state standards goals. Science Academy of South Texas obtains an outstanding educational strategy and I will enforce the strategy to all high schools in Texas. I enforce high schools to provide college preparation classes and make the classes a requirement to graduate from high school. I will also create a class for first generation students to prepare them for college and attend workshops in different universities. So, the first generation students can observe the college life.
