| Media tells us to get use to higher prices and lower wages.. are you prepared?
If you are a middle class person better get use to a lower standard of living in the future. The general feeling by experts is energy, utility, education and health care costs are going up and wages will stay steady. The final result is a lower standard of living. Are you ready for this or will the standard of living go back up like it has in the past?

No, I am not prepared. I guess not many people are anyway. This situation has caught alot of people by surprise. It'll take awhile to 'get used to it' because higher prices never go down. Hasn't anyway since time memorial. We'll just have to bite the bullet and move on. Gone are the better days of yesteryear.;p

There are two options if your middle class:1. To become rich and get tax breaks from the Republicans.2. To become poor and get handouts from the Democrats.Either way you will survive.

For the last 30 years wages have "stayed steady" while the productivity and GDP has been rising. Maybe it is time to engage in some class warfare and question why only a few people are getting most of the benefits of Globalization and how the "gains from trade" can be spread about enough to at least compensate us for the higher prices.http://www.visualizingeconomics.com/2007/11/04/has-middle-americas-wages-stagnated/
