What leads people to believe these myths about Atheism?

I am somebody who believes in God and loves Jesus and other spiritual beings, and I can't say that I believe that any of those statements you've made about commonly-repeated myths about atheism. That being said, I find that many atheists are every bit as overbearing and holier-than-thou about expressing their viewpoints as fundamentalists. Some atheists have a definite agenda, and it involves arrogantly putting down people of faith. I also find that atheists really haven't come up with any better set of answers to answering those questions (i.e. Why are we here?) by using science, logic and rational thought.

They are not myths. They are generalizations. Maybe not all atheists are without morals or worship satan, but some do. It is wrong to lump everyone in a category based on the actions of some, but it happens to all different beliefs, not just atheists.
