Basic question education in U.S.?

Hey there i study in class 11th. I'm currently in the Middle east. I want to come to the U.S. for studies after the class 12th. Which means i have exactly two years Can you tell me what are the basic tests i would have to clear if i get the IB diploma (11 and 12) then come here?I would like to do something in the ARTS track after the 12th class.I'm looking for applying in universities close to BOSTON/ATLANTA/NEW YORK/CHICAGOBest answer get full pts

i dont know if there are any special tests you would have to clear because of your IB diploma, but almost ALL of the upper lever educational institutes in the U.S. require either SAT(SAT Reasoning & Subject Tests) or ACT test scores for admission. Also, for pursuing the arts you will need to establish a portfolio, i have never heard of an arts school that accepts students without one.
