How To Get Into a European School?

I am currently in 7th grade, heading to 8th grade. I want to know how an American student can go to a European school. I REALLY want to move there when I graduate from high school. However, I know that most European schools require some sort of a different test, not the SAT or ACT like here (America). My real question is if can take one of those different tests to get a General Certificate of Education (GCE) here, or if I need to go to some International Baccalaureate school (there's one near me, but I'll need to fake an address). I don't really want to go to IB because their work is extremely rigorous, compared to "regular" high schools. But of that's the only way I can go, then that's the only way. I just want to know if there's an easier solution.By the way, I live in south, SOUTH Texas (close to the border), if that helps. Also, I'm asking this question this early because if I have to go to IB, it'll have to be in 2 years: very close.So... ANY help is appreciated, thanks.

How To Get Into a European School?

My advice would be to contact a university in a country that you would want to study in and ask them what they would require of you, and what their language requirments would be.btw. I was born in germany and have lived in SC since I was 17. We have it way easier here in the US, no matter what you see on CNN. Our little economic problems in this country is peanuts compared to what they are seeing. My grandparents face 20-40% increases in food yearly (and not every few years like we do). Gas is also around double in Europe. Think twice before you move off to Europe. Also, you may have a hard time returing to the US with a foreign qualification, since you may have to have it verified etc before you can get employment. Also, if you study in a country that is not English speaking, you may run into some difficulties.Good luck!
