Is there a standard for how much military education is weighed toward equivalent...

...experience? If a prospective candidate for a job has military eduction , which required more classroom hours than a Bachelors degree would that be considered equivalent experience? Are there any companies which have a best practice of defining equivalent experience? If so what are they.
The civilian position is for repair same type of equipment the candidate was trained on in the military.
