...them to start with? Is it genetic or something? I've never been given all the details.
I've never been tested, but my parents didn't have it, and i've never made any sexual contact with another being. I don't think I would have it, or is there a possibility?

good question....I know that chicken pox is a virus like herpes, and we all carry it in our nerve system...

they say, if you had the chicken pox, then you have stage two in your nervous system and you can get the shingles from that.

they call the shingles, herpes, and you get that from having the chicken pox, so maybe all of the STD are a virus caught from what ever gave us chicken pox.....its all about the immune system!

There are two ways to get a STD/STI....sexual and skin-to-skin contact....if you never had sex then you are clean. People give it to each other...period!

some stds can be passed through kissing and oral sex. even by having some one kiss u when u were a baby.
i got mine from my bf giving me oral sex while he had cold sores (which are oral herpes).
