I had my period last January 27, had sex in Feb 4(haven't had sex til now, that's the last one), had my period in march 5, i missed my feb period. now, it's already april 11 & have not had my period for this month. i got a home pregnancy test but it is negative. |

| COULD BE SEVERAL REASONS YOU MISSED. BUT YOU SAID YOUR TEST WAS NEGATIVE so now it could be a std and these are nothing to play around with so best go see the doc asap also while their get ck for HcG (pregnancy hormone) do a blood test if you are having abdominal pain also have urine tested to be sure you are not pg |

| You could have just skipped a period. Most STD's don't cause your periods to jump around. Pregnancy is the most common cause of that - and you've already ruled that out. I'd make an appointment to see my doctor in about a month. If you get your period between then and now, then I'd cancel the appointment and chalk it up to a missed period (stress or something). If, on the other hand, you still haven't gotten this months period, then I'd keep the appointment. It's possible that you have some kind of wacky hormonal thing going on - which still wouldn't be much to worry about. Throughout my 20's, I only got periods about four times a year. I went on the pill to regulate them, and if I wasn't on the pill, I would have them induced periodically. For me it was nothing serious, but its a good idea to get it checked out just to be sure. Still, this does NOT sound like something that is going to cause problems if you don't get on it right away. See what happens and respond accordingly. Good luck. |
