What are pap smear used for to detect ? Beside stds?

I mean is it to dectect one thing or other things as well beside cancer and STD

Yes, it is for STD's and cancer (which is caused by an STD, essentially), but also abnormalities like infection. It's basically checking cervical/vaginal health.

besides stds they check for cervical cancer and just to make sure that everything is ok in there (lol) honestly it's not that bad I was terrified to go for the first time, but my doctor was real quick and it took less than 5 minutes.
