Can a doctor test you for STDs without your permission?

I am 26 years old and a couple months ago I went in for a pap smear. My doctor did not perform the exam she had a female
Nurse Practitioner do it. I told the practitioner I am a virgin and
it was my first time getting a pap smear. After the exam I asked
her did she see my Hymen she said that there was no hymen. She was typing on the computer. Then she said by mistake she put into test me for the STDs HPV and Chlamydia because she thought I was 25 years old and they are required to test people 18 to 25. When she realized I am 26 she wouldn't cancel the test. Why wouldn't she cancel the test?
Was she supposed to ask me? I know I am fine because the
test for the pap smear came out fine and they never called for
the STD tests so I assumed it is negative and I am a virgin. I
am wondering what do you think?
