Late period, Neg test, lots of mucus, No STDs? What gives?

I'm only a day late on my period and took a test just to make sure i'm not pregnant and it was negitive. I have no stds I have been checked twice over the last 3 months. Been only with husband. But i have been having horrible cramps and lots of clear slimy discharge. This has never happened to me before except with i'm ovulating. I'm all confused! Any ideas what is going on?

it means simply that your period is probably about to come. Periods are funny in a way that just about anything can affect them. I usually get crampy and all that jazz just before my period (usually when I'm ovulating....and/or about a week away from my period).

this is kind of funny asking this question, then you say "only with husband" sounds doubtful if thats the case why were you check twice for std? If you don't have a yeast infection it may be like you said your ovulating. Call the doc and get checked out if it continues. Better to be safe than sorry.
