Can you get tested for most STDs just by a blood sample?

I got like throat and sinus issues and was wondering could that relate to STDs if I've given unprotected oral sex and how can docs test for that..like I know HPV can't be tested by a blood sample and if it's in the throat?

I'm low on cash and have no insurance...I have like chronic inflammation of the salivary glands (no pain just swelling)...trying to diagnosis my own symptoms.
