| Studying abroad and Financial aid? This was asked a couple times before but I can't find an answer that suits my particular situation... I want to go to the Korean Language Institute at Yonsei University. It's a 1.5 to 2 year program~ with just a series of intensive Korean language courses. It said on the FAQ on their website that their classes -may- count for college credits, depending on the school I transfer them too, and -probably- for around 6 credits each, but I'm thinking most likely less. I don't know if/where I can get a loan for this. It's at a university, but it's doesn't have a FAFSA code nor supported by Sallie Mae. It's one of the top schools in Korea for crying out loud! I looked at some other loans and they require you to be taking so-and-so many credit hours and so on... but since these classes don't specify how many they are, how do I know what I can apply for? Can I just apply for loans just with a letter of enrollment? Oh and can plane tickets be applied to cost of attendance? Thanks <3 |
