| I want to study abroad in switzerland? I am black and my parents are worried that they won't be accepting of black people over there. The school i will be going to is in Montreux. On the weekends we will be traveling to Paris, Florence,Venice, and Rome. Do you think I will have a problem dealing with the people there?      |

| I actually know a black Swiss person! She seems pretty well adjusted to me! The key for you will be language. You will find the Swiss are a lot more tolerant of our unavoidable American accents than the French are! I'm not going to say there will be NO prejudice, but no more so than any where else and a lot less than other places! Good luck and have a great time! |
