I'm planning to study abroad in spring 2009. i am deciding between Sydney

Australia and somewhere in Italy? Where do you think i would like better? Fit in better?
Is not knowing the language (italian) going to be hard to communicate and survive in italy?
Any advice on studying abroad?

Italy will be MUCH MUCH harder to assimilate into...But, I studied abroad in Italy and I can assure you it is the best country and way of life on planet Earth. As for fitting in when I was living over there I embraced the fact that I was different and was widely accepted.plus Italian women are UNBELIEVABLY BEAUTIFUL !

I prefer Italy because you can travel all over Europe when you are there. If you cannot handle the language barrier though - you should stick with Sydney. Both are fun.
