How do I pay for studying abroad? Plain and simple?

Sorry, with as much extraneous stuff as there is on the internet, I'm not having much luck figuring out how to pay for studying abroad. Even more, I can't figure out where to go to try to get this information. Basically, I am a 22 year old who would like to study abroad either next summer or the summer after that. I should be finishing my degree by 2010. I know different schools have different financing options available, but the vast majority of these are for studying abroad during the school year itself.

I'm not gonna just ask my folks for $$$ - I need to pay for this on my own. The problem is, I can't work a job that would be enough to pay for the entire thing AND go to school at the same time. Can anyone point me in any direction or provide any information? I would seriously appreciate it!
Thank you,
Sam

Try to get a scholarship or grant. These wont pay all but you can make up the difference with part-time work.
