Has anyone done the intrex study abroad or the CIEE international abroad program

for a year? I want to be an exchange student for a year in Germany. I plan to do the exchange as a senior and am pretty much fluent in German since I have friends there. I was wondering about the experiences people of had with these programs, especially as an exchange student in Germany their families, life in the exchange, the gymnasium, the courses, etc.
