wanting to go to college in the uk??

I'm an american citizen, 17 years old and I would love to study in England. Only problem is... my family is pretty lower class and I'm not exactly incredibly intelligent.. just normal at best even though I'm decent in language arts. I'm planning on going to a university in the US, then studying abroad for a year in the UK. But a part of me would realy love to study in the UK for the full 4 yrs of college. Are there any special programs/grants/ scholarships that could lessen the tuition? Or maybe just help out a bit? Any help would be immensely appreciated!! thank you!!

international students usually have to pay increased tuition fees and because grants and and bursaries are usually given by the government, you won't be entiltled to them because your a foreign student.you would have to look for a uni and find out what they offer for foreign students.but as a word of warning, my Friend came over from the USA to study, and now find himself in about £40'000 of debt so about $80'000 and he regrets it a bit
