I hav done 3 semesters abroad and want to study here... is it possible to get straight into 2nd year ?

hi, i m doing IT in australia and want to shift my studies here as i had to put a break in it coz of medical reasons. now that i am here in india, i was wondering if i could join into IT here but straight in 2nd year as i hav already lost about 3-4 years of education now.. (2 years of australian study + 1 yr rest + 6 months ..that i m in india now).. Is there some Quota or Credit taking system that can allow me to study here ? i need to know as soon its getting too late for me.. THX
