Carbon Tax! Carole Taylors idea and it's a bad idea correct?

Carole Taylers idea will make BC the most expensive province to live in. Carbon Tax is a real bad idea. She choose the wrong way! She's helping the gas companies rather than hindering them cause.. a tax won't reduce a persons driving!
She should have created an incentive for more people to use buses more. Create also a fund cooperative for people to find ways to use alternative fuels & develop ideas! How about a helium powered car that hovers in the air and works on a vacuum principle? Carole's Carbon tax is bad is it not?

People who embrace carbon tax as the way to reduce carbon emmissions are mostly people who do not understand the realities that real people face when trying to get to work, or school or wherever they go. If you lived in New York City where nobody drives because there are sbways and buses and taxis to take you everywhere, you might look down your nose at someone driving a car and say "why don't those people take the bus instead?" But They don'y realize that there are places in the world where public transportation does not exist. So making driving more expensive will not make people drive less or change their mode of transportation, because there is nothing to change to. It just takes more money out of their pockets to do the driving they have to do anyway. If They wanted to invest in public tansportation projects in cities that don't have them, that would actually reduce driving. Focus on commuter rail systems. But carbon tax just punishes people who don't have any other options.

It's a terrible idea. It basically says that she thinks the stuff is bad, but that it's okay to release as much of it as you want as long as you're rich.

Very very bad idea if you ask me. This is what is to come from the political correctness of Gore's pushing of the Global Warming bit. Doesn't anyone (including OUR POLITICIANS) realize that this in fact is NOT true. They are having many meetings world wide with thousands upon thousands of scientists, saying these facts that Gore has deemed factual, are in fact not true, never were true. Heaven help us. I truly believe it is a first jump for the UN to tax the world and taking the Country's sovereignty away, period.

I must add that "ethanol" is not the answer when ethanol in fact will create more troubles than the gas and oil ever did. This is also a fact.
