| Labor Department Settlement - paying taxes?
In 2007 I received a settlement from the state labor department on a pay dispute from like, 2004. Even though I usually keep things pretty organized, I have not been able to find my paperwork about it from 2007 - and I have NOT received any kind of W2 or other paperwork from the state about paying taxes on it. Should I contact the department of labor, or include the money in the "other earned income" bracket even though I am not sure if the state took the taxes out already when they sent me the check? |
