| Will my college cost decrease if I file tax as a out of state resident?
For example: I am a resident of New York state and I am planning to attend a university at Florida state. As a out of state resident, I have to pay extra money. But if I file tax in Florida after one year, will my college cost decrease because I am now a resident of Florida and I filed tax in Florida? If it decrease then how much? If it does not decrease then why?

Check with your school to find out what qualifies you to be considered an in-state resident. It will most likely take more than just putting your FL address on your federal income tax return.
