| Which tax form do I need to fill out for the gains I've made on stocks?
Good evening! This is my first year filing taxes for the gains I've made trading stocks. I have already received my taxable information from my brokerage firm. But I am not sure which form do I have to fill out to report my taxes: 1040 Schedule D or 1099 B? And what's the difference between the two? I would appreciate your help regarding this. Thank you! |
