Did you know that the wealthiest 1% of Americans pay about 33% of all collected US

Federal Taxes? My Source is the US Treasury.
The top 50% of earners in the US earn 87% of the income in the US and pay 97% of the Federal taxes.

Do you think the wealthy should pay a larger share and why?
