will this mess up my tax refund?

my social security card has my maiden name on it, but my w-2 has my married name. i got married a year and a half ago but never had the opportunity to change it because i was in the army and stationed in germany. i just got out of the army and want to change my last name on my social security card but will they get confused or something and mess up my refund? because i filed taxes under my maiden name. should i wait until i get my refund first?
