| I filed my taxes online and made a mistake,and l already got the check from... ...IRS,what do l do w/ my check? I didn't have time to make the corrections before IRS mailed me the check.What about the 1040 form? Do l still need it?      |

| YEP. Use your 1040, print out what you filed. Use it to file 1040X, corrected return. Pay IRS what you owe with return. File before 4/15, and no penalties and interest for your mistake. |
