| Does anyone know about first time home buyer property tax transfer exemption in... ...Vancouver BC!? I recently purchased my first home in Vancouver Canada. My first plan was living in it and applied for property tax transfer exemption. After purchasing, my whole plan was changed and decided to rent out the place for 2 years.One of the conditions on this tax exemption is living in the place for one year. It is not fair paying tax transfer on a place that you know you will live in it soon, specially in an expensive housing market like vancouver. I like to know if someone has already faced this situation and what can I do to minimize or avoid this tax payment. Your answer is really appreciated.      |
