Do I qualify for the tax money?

I am 18 and I didn't work that much last year, my gross income was around 1600$, do I qualify for the tax money that theyre giving back? My dad says I don't but I dont know. Help!

No. Your income is below the minimum $3000 to receive a stimulus check. And if you are still a dependent, then you wouldn't be eligible in any case.

i believe your dad is right. go to the IRS website and see if you qualify.

If your parents claim you as a dependant, you do not get the extra tax payment.
